Kelly Donck
I am Kelly Donck, a master goldsmith in heart and soul and I do this profession with a lot of passion for the profession. Sometimes I am also labeled as a professional idiot. At the age of 8 I had already decided that goldsmith would be my profession. In 2017 I was able to realize this at the Schoonhoven vocational school. I successfully completed my training as a master goldsmith there in 2019. This school is an authority on goldsmithing. Here I learned everything to perform the craft of repairing, entertaining, manufacturing and designing jewelry.
I also followed the training as a gemologist and successfully completed it with a diploma from the DGI (Dutch Gemonology Institute). Then in 2022 I followed and successfully completed a course as a diamond setter at the Alexandre Diamant Setting School in Antwerp. Here I was trained to set all types and sizes of stones and to dig by hand using a microscope.
All my jewellery, repairs and/or adjustments to jewellery, wedding ring designs, ashes processing, fingerprinting, stone setting, engraving and lacing are done in my own studio. By working with traditional tools in combination with contemporary techniques, there are endless possibilities for making or entertaining your jewelry.
